As usual, Samsung continues to keep its Galaxy devices secure, and while it is still rolling out the May 2024 update, it is also making the June 2024 security update available for more devices. June 2024 Update Now Downloadable for More Regions for Galaxy S24
The security updates, first released by Google for Pixel devices, fix vulnerabilities and enhance security. According to the announcements, the update, which fixes 59 security issues, is now available for the Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra in the European region. If your device hasn’t received the update yet, it will be available soon.
For the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, the update comes with software versions S921BXXS2AXEF, S926BXXS2AXEF, and S928BXXS2AXEF, respectively. The Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra also receive updates with versions S901BXXSAEXEC, S906BXXSAEXEC, and S908BXXSAEXEC, respectively.
The June 2024 update is also being rolled out for the Galaxy Z Fold3, Z Fold4, and Z Fold5 models with software versions F926BXXS7HXF2, F936BXXS7FXEA, and F946BXXS2CXE9, respectively. For the Galaxy Z Flip3, the update is available in Europe and America with software version F711BXXS8HXF2.
To download the update, go to the Software Update section in the Settings app and click on the Download and Install button.
